El Jardín de Los Niños

El Jardín de Los Niños (Children's Garden) is a program to promote education and good advice to children in their homes. El Viejito the old man has good communication and establishes a good rapport with them. The program features cuentos (stories), songs, and brief chats with the children.

Every Friday "Los Cuentos" (Stories) are read by Teadora Chavez Martinez from Circle of Success of Yakima.

This program commemorates the lives and music of famous Mexican singers, groups, and bands. Includes such persons as Pedro Infante, Tona La Negra, Austin Lara, and Trio Los Panchos.

An on-air flea market, buy, sell and trade.  This program is for indivduals and not for promoting businesses.  The program averages 65 calls in 45 minutes daily.

Línea Abierta

Public Affairs program originating from Satelite Radio Blingue in Fresno, California. This program features topics on health, education, immigration and othe issues of interest to the Latino community in the United States. An 800 line allows listeners to participate during the program.

In this program the most current of the new music and artist are featured.  The target audience is young people.  Public service announcements and information are also for the young.

Reflexiones

The program features music cultural music from different region of the world. The producer gives intellectual and philosophical commentaries.

Puro Tejano

This program features the type of music known as Tex-Mex, a combination of Mexican nortena and country western music in English and Spanish.

Most of these programs are done live encouraging audience participation by calling in talking about the issues or service under discussion. The programs are open to differing opinions.
